Specifying the functionality of the Escape key

You can stop a simulation run, test run or animation by pressing the Esc key. By default, upon pressing the Esc key, a window is presented, allowing you to confirm the cancellation. You have the option to specify that this window should not open, ensuring that the simulation run, test run, or animation run is immediately aborted as soon as you press the Esc key.

1.  On the Edit menu, click > User Preferences.

2.   In the left window section, select User interface > General.

3.  In the Escape key's Behavior section, choose the End simulation/toolbar/test run without confirmation checkbox.

4.  Confirm with OK.
