Arranging or freely positioning program elements in PTV Vissim

You can move and arrange program elements in Vissim or move them on your screen or screens independently of Vissim. You can also group multiple program elements together, for example, multiple lists or multiple network editors.

Note: Changing program elements or hotkeys can make it more difficult for you to find and use commands. The documentation and the PTV Vision Support assume that the standard settings are used.

1.  Click the title bar of the program element, keep the mouse button held down, and drag the program element to the position of your choice.

The symbol for anchoring the program element is shown until you drag the program element out of Vissim.

2.  Release the mouse button.

Outside of Vissim, the display of the program element floats freely.

You can restore the default settings (Resetting menus, toolbars, hotkeys, dialog positions).
