Displaying the content of the changes of a scenario or a modification

When you create a network under Scenario Management, you can compare it for differences to the base network. To do so, open a window with a tree structure. You can also select another scenario for comparison and show the changes between the two scenarios in the tree structure. You can also use the tree structure to show changes made to a modification.

1.  Under Scenario management, in the Project Explorer, right-click the desired scenario or modification (Using the project explorer).

2.  From the shortcut menu, choose Show content for selected scenario/modification.

In the Network editor, in a Difference display, the changes are highlighted in color. To enable the Difference display, in the window of the tree structure, on the toolbar, select the  Difference display in network editor on/off button. The Changes <Scenario: <Number>/Modification: <Number> opens. A tree structure shows network objects and attributes:

  • modified (blue)

  • new (green)

  • deleted (red)

The Network editor and tree structure are synchronized by default: When you select a new or modified network object in the Network editor, it is highlighted in the tree structure.

3.  To deactivate the Difference display in the Network editor, in the tree structure window, on the toolbar, click the  Difference display in network editor on/off button.

4.  To select a different network for comparison with the currently opened network, in the tree structure window, click the toolbar button and select the desired network.

The tree structure and the Network editor are updated.
