Priority rule Example 1: Minor yielding road leading into straight main road

1.  Position the left red bar (conflicting marker) on the stop line of the yielding road.

2.  Position the top green bar (conflict marker) on the main road in movement direction, approx. 1 m upstream of the end of the conflict area.

This makes sure that the min. clearance and time gap are checked for the main road only. You thereby exclude the possibility of a yielding vehicle waiting for itself. So do NOT position the green bar (conflict marker) on the connector between minor and main road.

3.  Confirm the default values: min. clearance = 5 m, time gap = 3 s.
