Defining aliases

1.  From the Base Data menu, choose > Aliases.

The Aliases list opens.

2.   In the list, on the toolbar, click the Add button .

The Alias window opens.

3.  Make the desired changes:

Element Description

Network object type

ObjTypeName: In the list, click the network object type with the attribute for which you want to enter an alternative name.

Attribute

AttrName : Opens the window <Network object type>: Select attribute. All attributes of the network object type are displayed. Click the desired network object. You can filter the entries (Setting a filter for selection of subattributes displayed). Confirm with OK.

Name

Alias name of your choice

4.  Confirm with OK.

In the Aliases list, a new row is inserted. You can edit the alias in the Name column. When showing the Attribute column, in the column, click the symbol to change the attribute.

The alias is displayed:

Tip: Alternatively, define an alias in the opened list of network object attributes:

1.  Right-click into the column header of the column with the desired attribute.

2.  From the shortcut menu, choose Add alias.
