Properties of the Vissim versions

From version 11, Vissim is available as a 64-bit edition only. The name of the version is displayed in the title bar.

You can use an installed demo version for 30 days after it has first been opened. The Vissim Viewer can be used without any time restrictions (Using PTV Vissim Viewer). If the demo version is overwritten by a later version of the service pack, the 30-day trial period starts anew. You can initially open the demo version during a maximum period of 180 days from its build.
You cannot copy data in lists.
Evaluation cannot be generated.
The Save, Save as default network, and Print commands are not available.
*.avi files cannot be saved.
Users do not receive technical support.

The following applies to the Vissim Viewer only:

Vissim Viewer: Simulation runs are aborted after the first 1,800 seconds. This period cannot be extended in order to show longer simulation runs. If it is necessary to show the visualization of vehicles and/or pedestrians beyond the first 1,800 s, animation files *.ani can be used. For animation files there is no time limit.
The Vissim Viewer does not contain any demo examples.

The network size depends on the dongle settings.
