Harmonized Traffic Measurements layer

The Harmonized Traffic Measurements layer displays "harmonized" real-time traffic data.

The real-time traffic data are collected from different data sources and automatically harmonized.

The data collected is used to get a specific measurement of the ratio V/V0, associated with a specific color.

The different colors represent different partitions of the ratio V/V0.

V is the speed measured, while V0 is the free flow speed, that is the speed that you can reach on a specific street or link without traffic constraints (free flow).

Info type Description

For the selected street only a measure of flow (number of vehicles registered by the sensor in a time period, generally one hour) is available.

Traffic flow is heavily blocked.

Traffic flow proceeds slowly.

Traffic flow is almost fluid.

Traffic flow is fluid.

The traffic flow proceeds at very high speed, very close or higher than V0.
Option type Description
Theme Allows you to choose a set of graphic themes to represent the layer entities.
  1. Click on a street (or link) to open the pop-up window with detailed information about the harmonized attributes.

The street (or link) selected is colored with a purple bold line.

  1. Select the layer in the ACTIVE LAYERS list.
  2. Click the List icon.

A pop-up window with a list of items opens. Every item represents a street (or link), characterized by a set of attributes.
