TDE Viewer
TDE Viewer is a visualization tool for:
- TDE entities
- The output of software solutions built upon the TDE framework
TDE Viewer can show on screen:
- Most of the network-related entities, such as nodes, links, transit routes, and stops
- Simulation results including link flows, speeds, and turn probabilities
Standalone use
TDE Viewer can be run as a standalone executable, visualizing virtually any entity represented in a TDE-supported database, such as an Optima database or a Visum database.
TDE Viewer relies on TDE to import data from a range of compatible data sources and subsequently produces an interactive graphical representation of the assimilated information.
When properly configured, TDE Viewer is a powerful insight tool within the TDE framework.
Usage as a viewer for TRE
To visualize simulation results, TDE Viewer is often installed in combination with the forecasting software TRE or in combination with the TRE Visum Add-in.
In this case, TRE automatically launches the TDE Viewer at the end of a simulation run. The TDE Viewer is preconfigured to load all layers that are commonly associated with the visualization of the corresponding results.
