Optima Micro results
PTV Optima Micro provides different ways to get results associated to simulations on a sub-network.
These results provide different measurements, according mainly to:
- The modeling of the sub-networks.
- The configurations adopted.
- The data integration activities.
Limitations
The results are affected by some limitations.

Public transport data in the micro model are not updated by any real-time data source.
You can model the public transport and it is simulated, but it is not updated. It is possible to model public transport for different day types. But this activity must be done and maintained manually, within the .inpx files for the typical days.

Pedestrian data in the micro model are not updated by any real-time data source.
You can model pedestrians in the micro model and this is simulated, but it is not updated.

No result data is exchanged between:
- The micro and macro model.
- The different micro models.
Outflows of a micro simulation do not flow into the macro model or the adjacent micro models. Overlapping micro models do not affect each other. A micro-simulation request is a microscopic upon-request evaluation of the sub-network area considering the traffic state of the last completed macro simulation as a starting point.
