Demand parameters

In the TRE GUI, in the Demand tab, you can set all parameters associated to the demand modeling.

Parameter Type Validity Description

ExtendDemandProfiles

Int32

{0,1}

Enables demand profiles even outside the input time series.

Admitted values:

  • 0 = No demand before the first and after the last input demand time series interval.
  • 1 = Use constant demand profiles before the first and after the last input demand time series interval.

Default is 0.

KeepFlowOnOrigins

Int32

{0,1}

Enables queuing on origin centroids.

Admitted values:

  • 0 = In case of excessive congestion and queues spilling back over connectors, the demand flows that cannot enter the connectors are deleted.
  • 1 = Enables queuing even on origin centroids.

Default is 0.

SplitModelCoef

Double

[0,1]

Indicates the Logit percentage in the route choice model.

With this option, you can mix deterministic and logit choice models.

  • 0 = 100% deterministic.
  • 1 = 100% logit.

Default is 0.

TPWD

Double

[0,1]

Indicates the user rerouting inelasticity, in case of partial rerouting.

0 = 100% equilibrium route choice.

1 = 100% external turn probabilities.

Default is 1.

ZoneGroups

Int32

{0, 1}

Indicates the demand destinations.

Enables the computation of route choices on traffic zones aggregated into groups. The purpose is to reduce the number of OD relations used in the simulation and to reduce computation time.

Admitted values.

  • 0 = Use zones.
  • 1 = Use zone groups.

Default is 0.
