INRIX API - Traffic Speed
The INRIX Traffic and Road Speed Service provides relevant information to make better decisions while on the road.

Important: Optima is compliant with the behavior of INRIX service as specified in INRIX documentation.
How Optima handles the service
Optima currently handles only traffic related speed data and congestion for a specified set of INRIX XD Segments.

Additional notes
The API is queried in our interface either:

By box (computing the bbox from the network)

By GeoID (if the bbox is exceeding the 2 degrees limit stated by INRIX documentation). GeoID used is provided in the optima-configuration.xml.
