Returning a borrowed license

You can return a borrowed license before the borrowing period expires. This requires a connection to the license server.

1.  Open the License Management window (Managing licenses with the PTV License Manager) or (Opening the license management in the product)

2.  Select the borrowed license you want to return.

3.  Click the Return borrowed license button.

The selected license is removed from the list of licenses and is no longer available.

Note: If you have chosen a shorter expiry date for the borrowed license than what was set by the administrator, or if the borrowing period comes to an end, your license will automatically deactivate upon reaching this shorter deadline.

Note: You cannot deactivate the main license using the symbol until all borrowed sublicenses have been returned.
